Objects In Search Of Meaning By Rosa Rubio

Entitled ‘Los Objetos Decorativos’, the pieces have no inherent function, but are instead ready to be employed as per the user’s need – or simply act as a decorative item that can be imbued with a multitude of meanings. Speaking of her inspiration behind the project, Rubio states, “My attraction to the objects around us [comes from] a restlessness to create a link with them and to provide them with a soul. Given this complicity, objects gain a density, an emotional value.”
