The building’s revitalization prioritized the connection between old and new.Named ‘El Condestable‘, the building’s revitalization prioritized the connection between old and new materials and building styles, centering around the central stone-columned courtyard. Inside, the building’s ceilings were stripped back to reveal the wood panels it had been originally built with. The former palace today houses Pamplona’s cultural centre, including a library, event spaces and municipal offices.
