Combining an industrial design background with superior skills in art direction, Thévoz—Choquet creates objects that are sincere in both their modern form and function.
Virgile Thévoz and Josephine Choquet, the creative duo behind the London-based studio, both graduated from the Design for Luxury and Craftsmanship course at ECAL, Lausanne. Through self-initiated projects, collaborations and private commissions for such names as Baccarat, Hermès or Christofle, they embrace all aspects of product design development, from initial investigation of an idea to complete creative solutions. Exhibited internationally in Geneva, Milan, London and New York City, their objects emphasize simple shapes and material diversity. From Carrara marble lamps to a series of brass objects, each of Thévoz—Choquet’s pieces upholds a strong relationship between luxury and craftsmanship.
