The design work of Berlin-based fashion label FOMME is heralding a new age of menswear and creativity: offering clothing that is delightfully structured and made for men (and women).
Sarah Effenberger, the creative director of FOMME, has always found herself more excited by men’s clothing when out shopping — noting that it’s an excitement that often leads to disappointment due to sizing. In the upcoming collection for Spring/Summer 2017, the label delivers a collection inspired by ’50s fashion: traditional swimsuits, pinstripes and pools. The full-bodied collection, entitled “Beachpatrol”, features patterns, playful embroidery, and a fitting for both sexes.
