A Giant Anamorphic Portrait Created From Arranged Clothing

American artist, Noah Scalin, who is known for the use of everyday objects and overall being a man of many talents and projects, created a site specific installation for Family Day at the Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond. Therefor he arranged donated clothing to compose a large-scale anamorphic portrait titled Portrait of Innovation: James Conway Farley. The one-day piece was based on a photograph taken by the Richmonder photographer James Conway Farley, who was the first African American to achieve prominence in photography.
