‘The Hidden Pavilion’ By Penelas Architects

“The passing of the seasons generates new senses and emotions within the design.”
Designed by Penelas Architects, the project fulfills the desire for a space to inhabit and think. Situated in a glade of the forest, it is hidden in nature and interacts directly with the booming plants around, letting them pass through its terraces by specially built gaps. The architects used only three materials to built a house: rusted steel structure, glass facade and cherry-tree wood interior. With the highest respect towards the surrounding nature, the upper level surface was inclined, providing room for the growth of a bicentenary oak tree.
