A Multi-Purpose Business Space Inspired By Spanish Tradition

Scroll

Located in the centre of the town of Posadas, Córdoba lies a cubic business hub featuring urban courtyards covered by a naturally aerated facade made of braided natural rods.

Designed by architects Francisco López Redondo and Gudula Rudolf, the Posadas Business Hub was inspired by the architecture — in particular, the covered promenades — of the region, and constructed from concrete, glass and wood. Together, the three key materials come together in stark contrast to the surrounding natural environment. Created to be used for business gatherings and training, the business hub’s key feature is a so-called “open air hall”, which, according to the architects, “is visually connected to the previous courtyard through the main room on the ground floor, enables cross ventilation and alternative circulation, allows the privacy of the upper floor and sifts natural light into the rooms.”
