“Public spaces need to stay public”, states the Swiss studio Bureau A, who gifted the city of Zurich with their version of a public pissoir. Placed in a parking lot, it is accessible to anyone (hello, men).

The sculpture like urinal is constructed of four large pink-coloured marble panels from Lisbon and a wooden frame which serves as a trestle from behind. Fountain 2017 is part of the exhibition “Common Ground” and addresses the imbalance between rich and poor countries in Europe.
